Warm bodies wanted, cold ones considered

Walmart is trying to go back to overnight stocking, but locally we can’t get people in the door. At $14.50 to start, the pay is about as good as it gets around here. We can get the groceries, paper, detergent, and pet supplies on the shelves with the people we have. Day shift handles lawn and garden, but anything else is done by the first idle body management can find.

The fast food places are trying to open up their dining rooms, but they have more issues getting people to work. Maybe they should recruit at the local cemetary. Since election season is over, it’s not like the stiffs have anything better to do.
