Last weekend was the Kansas State Track Meet. You would think the local daily would have had Friday’s results in the Saturday edition. Considering that they charge double for the Saturday edition, the paper has daily in its name and the sports editor is named Dailey, this shouldn’t be too much to ask.
They just got the results of the regional meet last week, two days after the local weekly. The neighboring daily paper, which publishes on the same schedule as ours, managed to get up to date results.
So what was in the sports section Saturday? Articles about the Chiefs copied from the Kansas City Star. I can get the Star on Sunday and get those articles a week earlier. Not having a newspaper would be better than having one this bad.
