Neewollah starts today.

Independence’s 9 day celebration kicks off tonight with the stage version of Peter Pan. Tomorrow morning will feature a 5k and 10k race. A week after, the highlight will be the parade through downtown Indy. In between will be the Neewollah Queen competition and the carnival rides. It may not seem like a big deal, but it is a fitting end to the fair and festival season in Kansas.
