Rain lets up in time for Neewollah.

We got an inch and half of rain yesterday and this morning. It looks like clear weather for the rest of the week. The Queen Neelah events were held inside and the rest of the festival is outdoors. The creek beds are wet, but no water is flowing through them yet. Likewise the local spring is still not flowing. This rain was enough to help the farmers plant winter wheat, but to end the drought we will need snow that melts slowly.
