No news(papers)

I went to Ottawa, Kansas yesterday and tried to get the local papers. Ten years ago I got the Kansas City Star, Lawrence Journal-World, Topeka Capitol-Journal, and the Ottawa rag, all of which were dailies. I went to three convenience stores and not one of them sold newspapers. They didn’t sell sandwiches either. Ironically Walmart did sell the Lawrence and Ottawa papers. Walmart usually goes out of its way to not sell a low profit item like newspapers.
