Michelle Lujan Grisham, Governor of New Mexico, issued a temporary ban on carrying handguns in Bernalillo County including the city of Albuquerque. The rationale is “public health” because gun violence kills two to three children a month.
This executive order has not exactly gone over well with the public. In addition to the usual fringe members of the opposition calling for her impeachment, the Bernalillo County District Attorney has already said his office will not enforce the order. When you lose David Hogg on this issue, that makes it a dumb blonde moment.
