Drove to work last night instead of taking the bike. Rode to Coffeyville this morning to get the rent check instead.
The bad thing about having a vehicle that could use some work is scheduling an appointment. A few years ago I could get my car worked on this week. Now I am lucky to get one in less than two weeks. What’s even worse is calling is now a waste of time since there is no one to answer the phone. You have to go to the shop and talk to the mechanic. Not so bad if you live in town, but I have to plan that visit around other errands like getting the rent check. At least I got an appointment next week.
