Educated incompetents

In 2021 Fort Scott Community College dropped its football program because the school claimed it couldn’t put up the money to field a competitive team. The Greyhounds hadn’t had a winning season in over a decade. It turns out that the administrators had miscalculated revenue so badly that the school was about to go broke and forced to close its doors. With deciding college enrollments nationwide, this could be a blow Fort Scott may never recover from.
