August showers…
…may not bring May flowers, but they do bring cooler temperatures that are most welcome. Highs in the low 90s and lows in the 60s make overdue yard work possible this week.
Power outage
Right after I came home my power went off. Evergy thought it would be an hour and a half. It took two and a half hours to get the power back on. This could have been bad, but the same storm that caused the power outage cooled temperatures down twenty degrees to downright tolerable.
