You know it’s hard to find help when Walmart is raising their entire payscale for the second time in two years. The bottom of the scale has gone from 11 dollars an hour to 14 dollars as of March something. The last raise cost us our profit sharing. Countdown to bouncedown
In exactly 50 days, give or take a few minutes, the Australian Football League will start its regular season. In AFL they start the game by bouncing the oval ball in the center square.
Here today, gone tomorrow
There is a mix of rain and snow with just enough snow to stick to the ground. With a high of 45 tomorrow it will be gone by tomorrow afternoon. The drought situation will not get any better, but at least it won’t get any worse.

Spring is coming
The first sign of spring is the seed catalogs that come around Christmas time. The second sign is when garden supplies pop on the shelves at Wally World. They arrived yesterday.

The Milburn Apt tournament is named after the most famous person from the area, an Air Force pilot who became the first person to fly Mach 3. He did so for lessContinue reading “Tournament Week”
