Wally World doesn’t pay that well, but during the busy season which started this week they do feed you. I haven’t touched my fridge in the last three days. Now it’s the weekend, I’ll have to familiarize myself with it.

Football game closed to fans.
In Delaware, Friday’s game between Seaford and Laurel was closed to most of the public because of alleged threats of violence. As the home team Laurel allowed one or two parents/guardians if they were in Lauren’s database and had photo ID. Seaford was only allowed to have players and coaches at the game. This hasContinue reading “Football game closed to fans.”
Long time no see
It has been almost three years since I got laid off from my previous job and I have heard nothing from any of them since. My former boss wants to get together Saturday. I think I will go. I don’t like to go far from home but I am overdue for a shopping trip toContinue reading “Long time no see”
50 years gone
50 years ago today my sister died of leukemia at the age of 16. I really need to go through her stuff that has been passed down over the years. My niece is the next in line and I have a bunch of family history I don’t want to see get lost.

I wanted to get a turkey for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I am trying to clean out my freezer for the side of beefContinue reading “Halloween is done, Christmas is here.”
Rain lets up in time for Neewollah.
We got an inch and half of rain yesterday and this morning. It looks like clear weather for the rest of the week. The Queen Neelah events were held inside and the rest of the festival is outdoors. The creek beds are wet, but no water is flowing through them yet. Likewise the local springContinue reading “Rain lets up in time for Neewollah.”
The garlic has landed
I got my garlic cloves from Territorial today about two weeks after Southern Exposure sent theirs. This was good timing with the inch of rain we got today. That was as much rain as we got in the last three months. My weekend starts tomorrow so I know what I will be doing
