I have not been to Joplin, MO since the WuFlu panic. I stopped in Chetopa for lunch and snacks, and didn’t see a mask in sight. Chetopa is so small that every business is locally owned. The AC unit on my rental house went out today. Fortunately, this has been a mild summer. Highs barely hit 90 this week. The AC people will be here tomorrow afternoon. Blogging Ain’t Easy
Due to my work schedule, I often get home from work after midnight. I guess I have to post in the morning to make sure I post every day. I have the next two days off to get back in sync.

Fall Garden
Trying to figure out what I can still put in a fall garden. Have to hit all the local garden centers this week. Can’t believe August is almost half ovet.
Shedding
Got a bad sunburn last weekend. Today the loose skin started peeling off, so I am shedding as much as my cat.
Long day
Normally I post after I get off work, but didn’t get home until after midnight. Maybe I should try posting in the morning. Today should be easier.
Back to the grind
Left Ottawa this morning, collected the rent, and made sure the cat was ok. Had an easy day at work. More details in the morning.
