Cox to play his 100th game.

Ten years ago Mason Cox had no idea what Australian Rules Football was. Barring an unfortunate mishap, he will play his 100th game against North Melbourne Saturday morning. The 100 game AFL milestone signifies you are a legitimate player at the highest level.

This might get overshadowed by Steele Sidebottom, who is scheduled to play his 300th game the same week. 300 games is hall of fame territory in the AFL.

Last day for seniors

Except for Cherryvale, whose seniors graduated last week, today was the last day of school for seniors in the area. It gets a bit awkward for those seniors still involved in sports. The playoffs and regional track meets are next week, with state championships the following week. Since the seniors are no longer students, after today they will have to sign in and out to enter and leave the building each day until their teams are eliminated.
