Due to my work schedule, I often get home from work after midnight. I guess I have to post in the morning to make sure I post every day. I have the next two days off to get back in sync.

Fall Garden
Trying to figure out what I can still put in a fall garden. Have to hit all the local garden centers this week. Can’t believe August is almost half ovet.
Shedding
Got a bad sunburn last weekend. Today the loose skin started peeling off, so I am shedding as much as my cat.
Long day
Normally I post after I get off work, but didn’t get home until after midnight. Maybe I should try posting in the morning. Today should be easier.
Back to the grind
Left Ottawa this morning, collected the rent, and made sure the cat was ok. Had an easy day at work. More details in the morning.
Rest Day
Made the trip back from Iola yesterday and went right to sleep. Resting in my room today. Have to pack tonight. Need to leave early tomorrow to get the rent and go back to work.
Failing midterms
Rode 54 miles from Ottawa to Iola in a time much too embarrasing to mention. Got to do better tomorrow on the return trip, which will be slightly shorter because I went up and back on the initial stretch in Ottawa today.
