I went to Bartlesville on a well overdue shopping trip today. I was about to go back when I realized I needed to pick up some snacks and cleaning supplies at Dollar General. I ended up at the one known locally as being in the middle of nowhere. It is just off of the highwayContinue reading “Dollar General Is Everywhere”

Long Weekend
I took all the vacation time I had and started a long weekend this morning. I couldn’t have picked a better time, either. Not only is Tulsa Tough going on this weekend, but my boss is due to come back tomorrow night. She is going to have to start by terminating a couple of employeesContinue reading “Long Weekend”
Nice to see the old gang
About a month ago, my supervisor at my last job wanted to get some of the gang back together to talk about the good old days and find out what happened since we broke up just before the WuFlu hit. I had always wanted to stop by the Copan Truck Stop but never had time,Continue reading “Nice to see the old gang”

Shopping in Joplin
I have not been to Joplin, MO since the WuFlu panic. I stopped in Chetopa for lunch and snacks, and didn’t see a mask in sight. Chetopa is so small that every business is locally owned. While having lunch, I read in the Joplin paper that the city removed the mask requirement. While shopping, IContinue reading “Shopping in Joplin”
