Footy finally comes to Kansas
As far as I know there has never been a footy game in Kansas. On June 24 this will change in a big way. The US Australian Football League will have a super regional tournament in Olathe on June 24. The east and central regions will combine for the world’s second largest footy tournament, nextContinue reading “Footy finally comes to Kansas”
AFL turned upside down
For only the third time in the 126 year history of the AFL the defending premiers are 0-2 and the wooden spoon team is 2-0.
Cats choke
Geelong lost to Collingwood this morning 125-103 after leading at quarter time, half time and three quarter time. Collingwood scored five goals and gave up none in the fourth quarter. This season could get ugly.

Lions Maul Cats
With the AFL reducing the preseason in recent years, I haven’t been paying attention in recent years. With two weeks to go until the regular season the Cats had their only preseason match against the Brisbane Lions and got mauled 91-45. Hopefully the Cats get their act together before the season starts in 12 days.
She chose flowers
I went to work last night and found this at the front of the store. Guys, there is still some time left in case you forgot what day it is.
Countdown to bouncedown
In exactly 50 days, give or take a few minutes, the Australian Football League will start its regular season. In AFL they start the game by bouncing the oval ball in the center square.
World Cup ends
The final game of the Wotld Cup was played today. Argentina beat France 3-3. If that sounds wrong, then you don’t believe a tie in basketball should be decided by a game of horse, a game of gridiron decided by a field goal kicking contest, or a baseball game decided by a home run hittingContinue reading “World Cup ends”
