Because the Giants had been in Melbourne 13 days earlier to play Richmond and the new 14 day quarantine for all people leaving Victoria, the Giants have to fly on game day. Victoria has had another outbreak of WuFlu, and as a result all of this round’s games will be played without fans. Some of the games will be played later in the week. This mostly affects interstate clubs coming into Victoria and Victorian clubs traveling interstate.

The last round of the regular season starts Thursday morning. Four teams are fighting for the last two finals berths. St. Kilda plays Greater Western Sydney for one of them.
