I spent most of the day in bed today. I think I caught a bug. Better take it easy because I have to go to work tomorrow night.

Merry Christmas to everyone out there. Time to make the donuts. After Christmas Eve services tomorrow morning, I will send most of my day off resting. If I don’t post tomorrow, no worries.

Winter is cold, dark and dreary. But it makes it easier to get some sleep right before work. Around winter solstice it gets dark around 530 pm, giving me a solid three to four hours. I was getting down to the chuck and arm roasts in my freezer when I discovered some ribeye steaks on the bottom. I know what I am having for lunch tomorrow.

I haven’t posted much lately and when I do I can’t get it to upload. Ic this continues, I am going to end this blog.

My neighborhood is pretty quiet, but the quiet is usually interrupted by the occasional vehicle driving by or the neighbor’s dog barking. Today things were so quiet it was unsettling. I can hear a car approaching from nearly a mile away and today I heard nothing. That’s a little too quiet.
