Trash Day
Normally I wait for the trash guy to show up before trying to go to sleep. Since he is usually here by 9am, this is not a problem. Today he came at 2pm, ruining what sleep I had. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
Tax Day, Part two
I have to go to town and pay my property tax today. Since my house is paid for, I have to write a check twice a year and today is the day.
Mondays are better….

The kids give oral performances in a variety of formats including duets, improvisation, informative speech and impromptu. Sometimes the kids pick a topic and sometimes they have to draw a topic at random. We judge theirContinue reading “Getting Judgy”
Getting old
I got another reminder I am getting old when my Social Insecurity statement came in the mail yesterday. I used to get them annually until I moved to Kansas. I tried to get them online, but was told I couldn’t. I found out that they will mail statements starting the year you turn sixty. WhenContinue reading “Getting old”
Sleep
Ran a bunch of errands in the morning, slept most of the afternoon, time to get up and go to work. I hope this doesn’t become my new routine.
