I just can’t shake off this cold. Maybe I’ll feel better by the time I go to work tonight.

Starting my vacation
Normally working five overnights a week, I don’t bother changing my sleep schedule. With nine days off, I am trying to sleep at night. It’s a little harder than I thought it would be.
Pain in the gas
I filled my tank up on Thursday and paid $4.30 a gallon. The next day gas shot up 20 cents a gallon. I remember paying $4.40 right after moving to Kansas. That means the next time I fill up, I will pay the highest rate ever.
Back to the grind
After two and a half months away, I am back.
Inflation

My tablet is on its last legs, so I went and bought a new one. Hopefully in a week, I will post on a regular basis again.

Bathroom Remodel
The fan in the bathroom went out, causing a minor mold problem. Since the bathroom was long overdue for a remodel, I had someone come out and upgrade it. With slim pickings at the hardware stores and supplies expected to get shorter, I am glad I did not put off this off much longer.

I got an estimate for the bathroon remodel on my rental property in town. A bit less than I feared, hopefully I can get it done this week.
