Rain lets up in time for Neewollah.

We got an inch and half of rain yesterday and this morning. It looks like clear weather for the rest of the week. The Queen Neelah events were held inside and the rest of the festival is outdoors. Independence’s 9 day celebration kicks off tonight with the stage version of Peter Pan. Tomorrow morning will feature a 5k and 10k race. A week after, the highlight will be the parade through downtown Indy. In between will be the Neewollah Queen competition and the carnival rides.
