We were told at work everyone at Wally World has to wear a mask. In addition, most non store employees and all salaried managers need to be vaccinated. I owe, I owe….
It’s off to work I go. After spending a three day weekend in Tulsa, I have to go back to work for two days before my normal weekend. This weekend will be spent as close to home as possible.
On vacation
I got off to a bad start on my vacation by just being lazy today. I will get up early and try again. I just have to remember that road construction forces me to take the bumpy back roads to Walmart for the rest of the month.
More drying out
The garden and my driveway are finally drying out. Since this is my weekend, I got some strawberries and blueberries before I left work. The strawberries are huge and not that tasty, so I am dehydrating them. I got my second flush from my mushrooms, and will dehydrate them next week. Vacation
At Walmart, schedules are set three weeks in advance, dropping on Saturday. Since I have had the same schedule for the past three months, I don’t check right away. I checked my schedule last night and saw my vacation on it. Didn’t realise it was that close.

Old habits are hard to break.
When I went to work last night, I wondered who would still be wearing masks. Turns out, nearly everybody was masked. I know there are not that many vaccine hesitant people on my shift. I don’t know if they are waiting for the two weeks to expire, or they just forgot.
